Before you build that new home or barn you might want to think about adding piers in your foundation. Piers, are holes dug vertically before pouring the foundation. Piers add strength to the foundation and minimize cracks and shifting in the concrete. Piers are available in 12" 18" and 36" diameters and can be drilled to a maximum depth of 16'.
